This space is where I share the stories, ideas, and inspiration behind the work—designed to help you live beautifully, lead boldly, and enjoy the life you’ve built.

Ciao!

Let’s be honest—recliners have a branding problem.

Somewhere between your grandfather’s La-Z-Boy and that oversized faux leather monster from the early 2000s, the recliner lost its cool. It became the punchline of the living room. Big, bulky, beige… and absolutely not part of the “curated aesthetic.” But here’s the thing: comfort never went out of style—just bad design did.

So let me say it loud for the people in the back:
It’s time to bring the recliner back.

Because comfort doesn’t have to be ugly.

Modern recliners have had a serious glow-up. We’re talking sleek silhouettes, luxe upholstery, even hidden power features. You can have a chair that looks like it belongs in Architectural Digest and still lets you kick your feet up after a long day of doing everything. Your back—and your Netflix binge sessions—will thank you.

Because design should work for your real life.

Beautiful doesn’t mean precious. If your space looks amazing but no one wants to sit in it, we’ve missed the point. A great recliner lets you live in your space. Curl up with a book, take a quick cat nap, rock the baby, or decompress after back-to-back Zoom calls. What mother has not picked out the perfect recliner for their nursery?? It’s about blending livable function with high style—and that’s what good design is all about.

Because there are chic options now (and I know where to find them).

No, not all recliners are created equal—and no, you shouldn’t settle for one that looks like a marshmallow ate your living room. But the good ones? They’re out there, and they’re gorgeous. Think boucle fabrics, wood frames, and clean lines that pair beautifully with your coastal-modern or organic-modern vibe. And yes—I can source them for you. My current fave is the Pottery Barn Dream line recliner – power, swivels, and reclines – swoon.

So let’s stop pretending recliners are the design devil.
Let’s reclaim the recliner—for comfort, for style, and for the lifestyle you actually want to live.

Need help finding one that fits your space and your aesthetic? You know who to call. 😉
