Ciao!

Black Friday is here — and with it, the rush of deals, carts, and countdown timers. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good sale (especially when it means scoring something beautiful for less). But this year, I’m approaching the season a little differently — and through a new lens: my daughter’s.

She’s six — wide-eyed, observant, and in that sweet spot where the holidays still feel pure magic. And this year, I’ve been talking to her a lot about what it really means to give. Not just to receive the latest toy or game (though yes, she’s definitely making her wish list), but to understand that giving — whether it’s a gift, your time, or a thoughtful gesture — is where the real joy lives.

I want her to grow up knowing that giving isn’t just something we do during the holidays. It’s a mindset. A way of moving through the world. And as she sees me shop for clients, wrap gifts, plan thoughtful touches for homes and events, I want her to see that design — and gifting — is really about care. It’s about knowing someone, seeing someone, and making them feel special.

So, if you’re in the thick of Black Friday decision fatigue, let me help simplify things.

I’ve curated a Pinterest board full of gift ideas I genuinely love — things I’d give to clients, friends, family, and yes, my six-year-old. It’s a mix of practical, beautiful, cozy, and clever — just how I like it.

Whether you’re shopping for a hostess, a client, a teacher, or a toddler — there’s something for everyone.

But more than anything, I hope this season reminds us why we gift: to connect, to celebrate, to show love.

And if you happen to do it with a pretty bow and perfect wrapping? Even better. 😉

Wishing you a joyful (and intentional) start to the season,
Lisa
