When Dr. Barak purchased this long-standing podiatry practice in Sarasota, it hadn’t been updated since the early 1980s — and he knew it needed more than just a coat of paint. His vision? A warm, modern environment that would instantly put patients at ease and reflect the professionalism of his care. As a Sarasota-based interior designer, we were brought in to handle the full medical office remodel — blending fresh, functional design with coastal-inspired elements that speak to the local lifestyle.
In healthcare environments, thoughtful interior design is more than just aesthetics — it helps create trust, reduce anxiety, and support both patients and staff. We gave the entire office a full refresh: repainting walls, cabinets, and doors in calming tones, installing new flooring, sourcing comfortable and durable furniture, and updating the staff spaces to feel just as considered. The finishing touch? A coastal wallpaper that brings charm and warmth without feeling overdone. The result is a clean, modern, and welcoming Sarasota healthcare space that sets the tone for quality care the moment patients walk in.
