A study in restraint, warmth and thoughtful use of space, this Lake Club bathroom was designed to feel larger without changing its footprint. Large-format porcelain tile creates visual continuity throughout the room, while frameless glass, a floating sculptural vanity and carefully integrated lighting keep the space feeling open and architectural. Warm wood, softly veined surfaces and restrained metal finishes bring dimension without overwhelming the intimate footprint.

What makes this space work, however, is what happens beyond the first impression. The floating vanity was designed with an open shelf below, adding valuable storage without the visual weight of cabinetry extending to the floor. In the shower, a dedicated shaving niche keeps everyday essentials within reach, while a second, more discreet niche is intentionally tucked out of the main sightline—because function doesn't always need to be on display. A streamlined lateral drain continues that same philosophy, eliminating the visual interruption of a traditional center drain and allowing the shower floor to read as one clean, uninterrupted plane.

Together, these details create a bathroom that feels calm without feeling cold, minimal without sacrificing function, and luxurious without relying on excess. Every inch was asked to work harder, but none of it looks like it's trying—a reminder that some of the best design decisions are the ones you barely notice at all.
