But for me, holiday decorating has never been just about the decorations.

It started long before Scarlett J Designs ever existed.

I grew up in a home where the holidays meant everything. We were a big Italian family, and our house became the place where everyone gathered. There was always food on the table, wine being poured, conversations happening in every corner, and a warmth that you could feel the moment you walked through the front door. Looking back, I couldn’t tell you what ribbon was on the tree or what color the ornaments were. What I remember is how our home made people feel. It felt welcoming. It felt joyful. It felt like everyone belonged.

That feeling never left me.

Today, it’s the reason I offer holiday decorating services in Sarasota.
